Blockchain and its applications, cryptocurrency and smart contracts, have been lauded as a key innovation of modern times and proposed as a solution to many of business’ primary concerns. With transactions made transparent and stored on an immutable, distributed ledger, the blockchain removes the need for trusted third parties to oversee deals and promotes honest behavior by making records unforgeable. However, current modeling completely forgoes privacy with financial details and data transacted between parties exposed publicly. 

This is unacceptable to most organizations, for whom information on their inner workings must remain out of the public eye. In this document, we present Glyff, a decentralized platform which delivers privacy-preserving smart contracts and transfers of value by using zero-knowledge cryptography. Protecting identities, private data and business intelligence, we envision a safer future for both companies and individuals at large.
